Enhanced Practice Flyer V4
Evidence Informed Practice at the University of Hull, starting in June 2026, which may be of particular interest to you and your colleagues. This is a 14 week, part time course, designed for registered AHPs and focuses on building practical skills in clinical audit, service evaluation, research design, literature searching, and critical appraisal. Teaching is mainly delivered by research active allied health professionals, with a strong emphasis on translating evidence directly into day to day clinical practice. The course includes weekly face to face teaching (3 hours) alongside supported independent learning. The module is suited to AHPs looking to strengthen their CPD portfolio, support service improvement activity, or prepare for advanced or specialist roles where evidence informed practice and audit experience are key requirements.

National leadership development programmes


Many of the NHS Leadership Academy’s national leadership development programmes are open and accepting enrolments, including the online free-to-access Edward Jenner programme and Foundations in System Leadership. There are also several apprenticeships available with the Leadership Academy’s programmes embedded, which can be funded by the Apprenticeship Levy.
